A number of people at the Holistic Centre had commented on the unsettled energy in the building and some had said they felt as though they were being followed. Upon this information and requests of help, I contacted “ Trust Active “ to help us. I had met one of the members Alan a year before and remembered their details. I met Alan and Jeff at the centre on Saturday 17^th March 2012 at 6pm.

Alan and Jeff set up their equipment, which included a camera in all rooms except the rented out room and Laura’s room. The computer was setup in Laura’s room and after one hour approx. we were ready to view any activity. I was asked to take part, of which I was very happy and interested to do so. This was a first experience to me and I was excited to take part. Alan and Jeff walked around each room to feel the energies to see if there were grounded spirits and those that had become stuck after already passing over and those that were just passing through.

Jeff, who is a clairvoyant, which means he has the gift of seeing, hearing and feeling spirit, gently made contact and listened to the spirits of people who had once lived on the earth plain. Alan also has similar gifts.

It was incredible to witness this happening and Jeff and Alan were both sensitive and calm and professional upon their task to help these spirits move on. There were two spirits in room one that Jeff believed to be connected to the “Kings Arms Royal Hotel” in Godalming and they were a little angry and difficult. They were positioned near what Jeff sensed was a vortex running through the room near the far window and right through to the reception area. There was also a man called Martin who said he was a blacksmith and had an injury down one side of his body (almost like a stroke/paralysis). He would move around the building and upstairs in room 5. His energy gave off a sluggish feel but he was a good spirit that had become stuck in his suffering and unable to move to the light. Jeff had smelt burning in room one and the three of us held hands and called in our helpers and envisaged a white light in the centre of us. We asked the spirits not to be afraid and that they could move into the light to meet their loved ones. I did see faces and limbs that looked as though they had burned. It took a while, but it was incredibly moving to feel them move on and be free from the building and their suffering.

In the counselling room, Jeff sensed a child and felt the heavy energies from the room opposite (massage room). In the massage room, it felt very active in the sense of frightened energies. Jeff discovered two ladies that were sisters, dated approx 1800’s. They were talented ladies that painted and mentioned a famous Godalming female landscape gardener they knew. They became very religious and would look at people within our building being massaged, dressed differently to them and would be scared and suspicious. This was because of their time of life, where they covered up their bodies and were very religious. Once again we held hands and asked gently if they were ready to move on. This took longer, as they were not trusting who we were and our motives. With Jeff and Alan’s sincerity they were beginning to move towards the circle. I saw a little girl in the centre of us who was reaching out her hand. They all moved on into the light.

We moved to room 5 and Jeff linked with a lady who was once a cook for a family, possibly at “The Inn on the Lake”. This dated back to approx. early  1900’s. She had died and passed over, but upon passing through had got stuck in the vortex of the building. She was frightened, but with love and care she was moved on. We moved to room 4, which felt had lovely energies. Jeff linked with a young man whom had died by being run over by a horse and carriage. He was a student doctor and had successfully passed over, he liked to visit this room from time to time to watch treatments taking place. He is a lovely, charming energy.

We moved downstairs to room 1 and Jeff said we should all envisage a white light to seal the vortex. Before this we all noticed a cold air flowing right through that part of the building. After sealing this area there was no more cold air.

During the night, activity was being picked up on the monitoring equipment that showed energy activity in the form of little orbs of energy moving quickly around certain areas of the building.

These spirits meant no harm, they had got stuck and were frightened and confused with what was going on around them, because they were from a different time and our time is very different from when they were earth bound.

A few of the therapists at the centre had commented on the different feel of the building and how lighter and easier it is to work there since Jeff and Alan’s visit. So Jeff and Alan had helped both the therapists and the spirits, which is wonderful.

Alas, I have been so busy in mind I have not added to our site for some time.

Thinking about individual experiences? Have you ever wondered why people want to tell of their experiences? It is hard enough for some to come to terms with it their self let alone involve others.

I can understand by the individual committing his or her event to someone, they are looking for some kind of conformation or more than likely an answer to why they have experienced the event.

There are so many mixed feelings about spirit activity or ghosts as many would like to call it. Because it is so hard to understand for many, it is not there for show, neither are they at your beckoned call. Spirit choose who they wish to contact and nothing will change that, this is why there is nothing to fear because they have chosen you to receive or pass the message or information on.

If they wish to be seen or heard they will do so.

It is understood why so many who have not had an experience need proof, they have not or may never have the experience that many do, so the lack of understanding can sometimes turn to fear.

I have always said, it is the spirit who choose you and this is what the visitation is all about. It is not for them to prove they are there it is actual contact to each individual they choose to pass information or collect information. At times the individual the spirit has chosen is the messenger and they need to pass on what is needed, or find someone who can.

Strange, or is this how it should be? Myself and the team at this time have never managed to film or photograph a spirit. We can sense, hear, feel, and communicate but at no time do spirit wish to be seen within a frame of a recording, this seems to be the norm for many investigators. Spirit voice recordings are quite common but visual experiences can be very rare.

There is much to learn and understand within the spirit realm or afterlife and many answers are kept at bay, small amounts of information filter through but they are only enough to wet the appetite. We all wonder how far each individual will be able to progress to fully understand how this fascinating phenomenon of spirit activity works. No one can really say in depth that they know, it is all held together on individual experiences and those experiences are the true facts of many who have gone through a complete change in their life because it has shown them there is the possibility of the existence after life.

For those of you that have not had paranormal experiences, many still believe there have been too many similar stories over many years which  has made many think twice before dismissing paranormal activity even though they are not a witness to such phenomenon.

By they way, I am not talking about bumps in the night or screaming ghosts, that sort of thing is from the TV or film industry, problem is there are many believe that as well.

It is very hard for myself and the team to accept the word “denial”, as many who have not had the experience from any paranormal activity will totally blot out any belief about it. They will not even look at it as a sceptic would do, this means they are a closed sceptic and for some reason of their own are against anything that is to do with the paranormal.

We as a team are all open to sceptism, we do not accept any event until we have ruled out all possible avenues of misunderstanding. We scrutinise all recordings and filming and try to re-enact the event to eliminate any outside interference.

You may well ask why we work with paranormal?

The team has had similar experiences at a younger age of various events which showed us there was something within the boundaries of the paranormal, although it was not pursued until most of us matured to adult hood. The hands on experiences we have endured has been real enough to believe that there is an afterlife, what kind we could not say but most definitely spirit activity to the full. We are not concerned about criticism because we have come too far to be worried about the never ending arguments from closed sceptics. What we do as investigators and how we do it is far more satisfying than having to justify ourselves to the non-believers of our world. There is a need for teams such as ourselves to work professionally and help individuals to come to terms with the experiences and events they are experiencing.

Even if you are a non-believer, like many we have worked for, they had to accept they were experiencing spirit activity with the unusual events they had experienced.

Our work has always found new and different ways that spirit can communicate, not all spirit are happy and can be very hard to converse with. Most will accept they want to move on, some are not so keen to leave where they want to stay, sometimes not realizing they have passed and feel they are still in control of their domain. Gentle persuasion and trust works most of the time but occasionally some heavier methods are needed for the more aggressive spirit.

I must admit, many would be quite fearful in some of the work we actually do, it can be very frightening. We have worked as a team for many years and our protection has become very strong, not only as individuals but more so as a team which is very important when working with a very unpredictable phenomenon such as spirit activity.

This year we will be a team of three as we have had a few unexpected changes and myself (Alan) and Jeff will be working along side each other with the aid of Nick our technical expert.

I often wonder why I have a strong sense towards spirit activity, I mean it is not as if I trained or was instructed to know how. As time progressed it became obvious I could sense spirit presence and this advanced to being able to receive thought patterns as if the words were being placed into your head. If spirit is around me they let me know by making my body tingle in various areas, mainly my legs and arms. I have even used this for “yes” and “no” questions and answers from spirit. I have had several experiences of hearing spirit talk and have seen several unusual hazy shapes and light sources, of which are know to some as orbs but these have not just been round but more explicit in shape, and size.

Working with spirit activity you find you never stop learning and understanding, there are so many different ways they communicate, sometimes directly and other times more like a puzzle to which you have to work at the answers.

I can give answers to many investigations but I do not give readings, just the facts from which I receive, I leave the readings to my experienced associate, although I have been involved jointly in readings, with Jeff, I prefer to work with the investigation side and not the personal individual involvement at this time.

The word “Demons”, often comes up in conversation with either clients or individuals. Let me say from our own personal experiences we have never, up to this time, been in contact or witnessed such a thing or event. From what we have seen, felt and heard is either a very nasty or angry spirit who can act in various ways to make you think it is demon like. As on this earth plain there are many who are nasty, wicked, dishonest, harmful, spiteful, e.t.c. Unfortunately this is where spirit come from and often pass over with the same qualities as when they were alive, either good or bad. Some are earthbound and trapped, others who have passed through are in visitation. Some spirit do not even know they have passed away, these are the most common ones we need to help to move forward, some spirit are still very possessive about their earthly goods and are confused by what they see as intrusion.

I think you have to look at spirit activity as a messenger service, not a hunting expedition. It is there for contacting us with endless information. I can agree it is entertaining and very spooky, but many miss the reason of why it is there, not for the money making or the chance to make TV shows, it is there for degrees of teaching and learning. Much can be learned by why you have been contacted, the problem is you have to find out why and how you do it. There are many who claim they can, they are soon found to be novices and have no experience at all. Very few will find the answers for you because they are what we call FUN teams, for a better word they are ghost hunters. Teams who get their kicks at other peoples expense.

Genuine teams are very hard to find and unfortunately it is all trial an error to do so.

We advertise what we are and what we are not, we can provide our work is professional. We can provide references and you can talk to clients we have worked for. This is some of the ways you can find a truly honest and trustworthy team like ourselves.

Spirit activity is believed by many who have experienced it in some way. It is dis-believed by many who have not experienced it at any time.

Who would you choose to understand to the existence of spirit activity?

The truth of the matter is your fate awaits you, certain paths you follow lead you into either happiness or sadness, to be rich or to be poor, to be in love or out of love. The list goes on and on.

Some individuals are dealt the good hand and sail through life without traumas, where other have nothing but.

Me, I could say I have had a rough ride to the full, not as bad as some but it has been, up to now, a struggle to adjust to anything and anyone. I have had half a century of, shall we say, not only not recognising which path I should have taken let alone finding it!

This brings to Women! I can honestly say I love them but understand them, no. Hence my poor attempt of having four marriages that have failed over the years. I wonder if it is just I? Or could it be the wrong choice and that we were not compatible over the time together?

As you mature in life you start to understand many things, alas, this does not include woman. I believe you have to be very lucky to have a very understanding partner and one who can communicate with the other so as to keep a long lasting relationship, not take an easy route and run! I believe you have to make an effort for everything, nothing comes free; if you work at it you have more chance of success.

So where did I go wrong I ask myself?

Just wasn’t to be I suppose, fate dealt a bad hand each time???

All you can do is try; if you have made the effort does it mean you have not failed? Can’t answer that one because who said it was meant to be right in the first place?

Am I confusing you? Not half as much as it is confusing me!

They say it comes in three’s, you bet!

First part of this year we lose our dog to illness, second I lose my mother in October, at the same time I am told that my wife has fallen out of love for me and she is leaving. I have now got to find somewhere to live, as I cannot afford the rent we pay together.

Talk about mind blowing, I can understand why I cannot grieve for my mum; bit of a shock isn’t it?

This is what I mean by what path you take, was it the wrong one or just bad timing? How do you know which is right and wrong? No way can you tell at the time, so does fate have a much bigger part to life than we think?

Some are lucky, some are not, and all you can do is pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start to get your life back on track.

Who said life is a breeze? Some one without problems me thinks! Is there such a person???

Many will snub or totally disbelieve it exists. Others will accept there is something there. Some will agree they believe certain experiences. Total disbelief usually points to fear, the fear of the unknown. Others just want to learn and understand what is it all about.

Unless you have generally had some kind of experience yourself I would find it difficult to understand how that individual could make a statement of total denial.

Unless an individual understands this is a phenomenon that chooses an individual to witness the particular event they wish you to experience, you will never understand or believe what it is all about. Having a closed mind to all paranormal activity is not being a disbeliever, it is a front for something far deeper within that individual. Everything has a reason when it happens to you, you just have to look deeper into that reason and find the answer.

Like I mentioned before, the element of fear is the biggest factor for the denial of belief of paranormal activity. Once you are passed this stage you can the look into your experience with open eyes.

We have been asked many times from many individuals on what to do when confronted with certain paranormal events. We have always said, the first thing is to understand spirit are not there to hurt you so there is no reason to fear it. You have to realise there is a reason for you to be chosen, ‘why’? It is up to you to find out! Until you have come to terms with the events you have experienced and fully understand there is a purpose for what is happening to you I would not advise you trying anything on your own. You would be surprised how many people think they can handle working with paranormal activity but when you experience a total unexplainable reaction it can render you quite helpless in the way of a major fright.

You must think carefully if you are ready to be in a situation which is completely mind bending and quite scary for most people.

Getting back to our disbelievers who will never think it will happen to them, I say think again my friends. Just because you do not believe it does not mean you would not be chosen to have one of these experiences, you see, the decision is not yours to make.

Lets face it, we can discuss this at length for eternity but at the end of the day it is only the individual who does have an experience that will understand. This is the only reason as time goes by that more and more people are starting to believe there is a spirit realm, but only because of their own personal experiences.

In my own experiences I have found that the loss of a loved one leaves individuals with unanswered questions. They want to believe in the spiritworld but do not understand it. They sometimes expect their loss to contact them straight away, this is not always the way. Yes, they will feel the presence around them but it is not what they expect. Grieving can cause all sorts of imaginary events, some might feel quite real and some can be real, but how can you know. This is where until you settle and are as comfortable as you can possibly be with you loss you will find it very difficult to accept anything as truth by way of any experiences you are experiencing.

As we are to understand, there is no time schedule in the spirit realm so if you are going to experience an event there is no way of knowing when.

All I can say to any individual who looses a loved one; I know what you are going through and it is not madness to talk aloud to them or act if they are still with you, this is the process of healing and grieving.

Sadly, not everyone will have the opportunity to experience a spiritual visit, why! I am afraid I cannot answer as this is only answerable by spirit themself.

Be patient, come to terms with your loss in your own time, painful as it is to you, you will adjust and have the fondest memories to cherish, however hard it may be you need to talk about them regularly as this does help your grieving.

I have just entered the experience of loosing my Mother, the experience is one of shock. Yes I am grieving and miss her terribly but have yet to shed a tear. It does make me feel very guilty but understanding my belief of the afterlife gives me a far greater strength that I actually realised. The understanding of the shell we live in is just for recognition to identify us towards others is the first acceptance for me, the second is the soul never dies and exists in spirit form and can communicate when chosen to do so.

I chose to visit my Mother in the chapel of rest and although she looked very peaceful there was the obvious recognition she had vacated her body. I know this sounds a little strange but she had moved on to the next stage, in truth it did not feel like I was standing next to my Mother.

This, to some might sound a little harsh but as I have mentioned the shell we live in is just for the time we spend in it. It is not needed when we pass, there is no use for it.

When we lose someone close to us the hardest thing is to accept it, it is the thought of never seeing or hearing them ever again. Something that has been snatched away from us is so devastating and unfair. The suffering can be never ending. The memories we collect are of a vast importance to help with our grief, they soften the shock when you can accept, in your own time, the loss you have encountered.

No-one can say how long grieving should take as it is an individual process, the shock can delay the healing process for some time.

I truly believe my Mother has rested in a far greater place and is free of any worries or pain as those before her, I also believe when she has settled she will show a sign of her being safe, either to myself or one of the family.

To help any one who has been in this situation and is struggling to cope remember my words, they will never completely leave you, in body yes but in spirit they will always be there, so just speak out loud and talk to them because they will always hear you.

May your wounds be healed by the belief of this.

My wonderful Mother passed away on Monday the 15th August. I have yet to react fully to her death.

Because I understand and work with spirit I fully understand she has left her body and returned to the spirit form, with time I will know she will contact one of the family.

The funeral is on Friday 26th August and I believe my grief will be released on this day.  I feel strange that I know I will never see my mother in her physical form again, I know she will be close and watch over our family until she feels we are settled.

My pain is yet to come, shock has delayed my feelings. I will be happy when I can let it all out.
